hey,

while you have access to the source, building xinf is currently not for
the faint of heart. to give you a slight impression of where i'm
currently at, i've uploaded a screenshot to:
  http://xinf.org/misc/xinf-screenshot-060606.png

in it, you see my firefox displaying the current informal test in
FlashPlayer and JS. next to it is xinfinity.

some things about this are a bit hackish: the specification (and in case
of xinfinity, location) of the font used is hardcoded; xinfinity doesn't
update it's display often enough; there are obvious rendering
differences (which simply haven't been addressed yet). but, what does
work:
 * colored boxes, text, auto-size to text contents, simple hierarchy
(the grey bit is the parent pane).
 * mouse events: the boxes have their text contents set to their name +
\n + the name of the last event that occured on them.
 * image loading (although definitely not finalized)

for reference, here is the source file for the informal test:
  http://xinf.org/trac/browser/trunk/org/xinf/Test.hx

(it is not the nicest bit of code, as said, its a test :)
