[xinf] DOM Events?

Nicolas. I can look at the API and tell it doesnt do what I need. Thats like
telling blind man "I know you say you cant drive but just see how it works"

I need a very specific thing which I have discussed already. It is the way
my code currently works and I need to interface it. If you cant tell me how
your proposal will solve my issue, I am happy to recant. But I would have no
idea how to use your proposal to achieve my goals.

Again, I am totally open to being wrong, and to having someone explain how I
can do what I need to do with your model. I dont need to be right. I just
need to be productive. That is why I have made such an attempt to be
detailed about what I am trying to do, so that if someone can point the way,
then I am totally there.

As I have said in subsequent posts, I need a way to communicate semantic
intent of the event. Your system doesnt do that, I believe in the mistaken
belief that semantics can be infered, whereas I do not. I caveated my
statements to leave room for others to correct me. But if you ask for
concrete proposals, I think that the code that I showed several days ago is
much closer to what is needed. Mark made some suggestions and raised some
issues that I think are valid and should be addressed, but my specific
proposal has already been made.

Oh, and I am not offended :)

Regards,
Hank
